Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner

This Thanksgiving dinner was amazing from hanging out with family to the food and baked goods. I didn't get to spend it with my side of the family but I will be spending Christmas eve and Christmas day.
My daughter had a blast running around and playing with the pool table with her cousins and dancing with mommy is always fun too.
I love my family and I am blessed to have such great people in my life and my significant other had to work at the hospital but I am so proud of him and love him dearly.
Until next Thanksgiving let the Christmas crafts and decor begin.

Pinecone Turkey

I love making these every year. Such a fun activity for the kids. You can even have a little arts and crafts table for the kids on Thanksgiving and keep them busy.
Supplies:

»Pinecones (any kind will do)

»For the feathers : you can use feathers, cardstock, leaves or craft sticks. I used the mini craft sticks and we painted them.

»Googly eyes: you can find these at the dollar tree, walmart or any craft store like Michaels.

»hot glue
And that is it!

Have a happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours

Pine cone turkey

I picked a lot of pine cones around my neighborhood with my daughter for up coming Christmas crafts but I wanted to do something for tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner so I went on google and there were so many ideas, and i saw people made these pine cone turkeys. Perfect! Its fun, easy and simple and its a fun kids project too.
Supplies
1.pine cones
2.red,yellow and orange card stock or construction paper. I only used two colors.
3. Googly eyes (mine are from the dollar tree)
4. Something to glue down the items,I used hot glue.
The possibilities are endless as far as materials for the turkey,if you have feathers that would look pretty too,or trace your child's hands for the feathers and color it. This cost me nothing since i already had the supplies, but if you don't the dollar store always has construction paper and googly eyes.
